Capabilities

Accessibility work that moves projects forward.

We focus on useful findings, realistic priorities, and remediation support that teams can understand and act upon.

Accessibility Assessments

Structured reviews of websites, applications, and digital content using automated testing, manual inspection, keyboard evaluation, and assistive-technology-informed analysis. Findings are documented against applicable accessibility criteria with the observed condition, user impact, reproduction steps, remediation guidance, and verification status.

Web Remediation

Practical correction of semantic structure, navigation, forms, contrast, focus behavior, accessible names, and other barriers affecting equitable use.

Document Accessibility

Evaluation and remediation support for common electronic documents, with attention to reading order, headings, tables, images, links, and form controls.

Program Support

Accessibility guidance for project teams, content owners, developers, acquisition staff, and contracting partners—from acquisition planning and solicitation or SOW language through conformance testing, Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) and VPAT review, documentation, acceptance validation, and ongoing improvement.

Where we help

A more visual view of the work.

Gov508 is not just about compliance language. It is about improving the actual digital experience across the places where public users and project teams feel the impact.

Accessible websites and applications

Navigation, structure, forms, focus order, interactive controls, contrast, and the pieces that affect day-to-day usability.

Readable, usable electronic documents

Documents should not be a dead end. We support practical accessibility for PDFs, office files, forms, and document workflows.

Contract and project support you can rely on

From short-term assistance to embedded support, we help agencies and partners address accessibility in a deliberate, defensible way.

Our approach

Find the barrier. Fix the barrier. Verify the result.

Compliance matters, but accessibility cannot stop at a checklist. Our work stays grounded in how people actually navigate, understand, and interact with digital services.

Federal Section 508 guidance emphasizes identifying user needs early, defining applicable accessibility requirements, and testing and documenting conformance before acceptance. Gov508 helps teams turn those requirements into a practical delivery workflow.

  1. Assess Establish the scope, test the experience, and document meaningful barriers.
  2. Prioritize Organize findings by impact, severity, reach, and practical remediation effort.
  3. Remediate Correct issues at the source and give teams guidance they can continue using.
  4. Verify Retest the corrected experience and confirm that fixes work as intended.

The standard begins here

Our own website must reflect the work we provide.

Gov508 is designed and tested against the Revised Section 508 Standards and WCAG 2.0 Level AA. We also apply relevant WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA criteria, including reflow, non-text contrast, visible focus, target size, and reduced motion. Accessibility is part of the foundation—not a patch applied after launch. If you encounter a barrier, email contracts@gov508.com to report an accessibility barrier.
